I love my Glass Mat suite. It comes with the Glass Mat you see in the picture along with the White Silicone Mat and the Gray Shammy for cleaning.

Glass Mat Suite Specifics

Suite Includes:

Glass Mat- 17”x14”, Heat Resistant, Tempered Glass, 5mm thick, Rubber Feet to help hold in place, Water Proof, Scratch Resistant, Stain Resistant, Easily wipes clean. Weight-4lbs 3 oz. Comes with Corner protectors for shipping.

Both Metric and Imperial measurments, Grid paper protected in between glass.

Silicone Mat- 8 3/8” x 6” White, Waterproof, Heat Resistant, 6 compartments, when placed on the glass mat it will stay in place.

Cleaning Cloth- 8 ¼” x 8 ¼”, lint free, durable and chemical free, reusable, gray.

Silicone Mat-

6 compartments. 4 can hold ink spots, larger compartment can hold a stamp pad.

• Use the compartments for holding water

• Use larger compartment for cleaning blending brushes

• Compartments can be used to hold embellishments

• Compartments can hold re-inker colors for water coloring

• Cleans easily by running it under water and dries easily Concerns- Darker Colors can stain mat.

Glass Mat-

• Clear Measurments

• Grid works great for lining up layers

• Grid helps place stamps on blocks straight

• Space to write notes off on the right side

• Non slip

• Holds the Die cut machine in place while using (both large and small machine)

• Heat resistant for Heat Embossing. It will get a little warm but safe to touch

• Drop ink from re-inkers for techniques.

• Add ink direct from Stamp pad for techniques

• Great for picking up ink for Blending Brushes. Adding ink to glass mat verses picking up from stamp pad saves on ink and is easier to color with.

• Ink from Markers can be colored direct to mat for water coloring techniques

• Ink from Blends can be colored direct to mat for Coloring techniques.

• Hold masks in place with washi tape, 3m post its, mask tape to color with blending brushes or paste. Be sure to clean paste off while still moist.

• Cutting with Exacto or take your pic rotary tool will not scratch the surface

• Color embossing paste on the mat with re-inkers

• Larger back ground stamps stay in place and works great for inking and stamping with paper on top

• Brayer works great on this hard class surface

• Pastels for coloring techniques

Glass Mat Concerns-

If using it while videoing, you can get glare from lights above.

Noisier as Bracelet or rings can clink on it. Bone Folder will make noise when using on the glass mat.

Cleaning Cloth-

• Lighter weight than Shammy

• Ease of wiping off the whole mat

• Re wet using waterproof

• Nice easy size for use

• Can use rubbing alcohol, water to spritzed on glass mat for cleaning with cloth.

• Reusable

• Little or no pressure needed to clean with

Concerns with Cleaning Cloth.

Stains easily. If you have a lot of ink on your mat and staining bothers you, you may want to wipe up with paper towel or baby wipe first.
