Blending Brush and Masking Technique

Today I am sharing how to make a card with Blending Brushes, Masking paper, Inks and using the Sunset Coast Bundle 167781 $55.75, Shared a card with Scenic Coast Designer Series Paper 167773 $17.00.

You can get Blending Brushes 3 Large Brushes for $17.00 or 3 Small Brushes for $15.00. I shared a few other samples with this technique. Stampin' Up! Guy Cards

Today we started with a little Stampin' Up New's like normal and then at the 15 Minute mark I started with the supplies I used to make the cards and samples today. At the 57 minute mark I started with the Give Aways!

Happy Make A Card Monday with Kelly Schudi-Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

I always start with my make a card with a little stampin' Up! News and then get into the Card Making and finish up with a give away. So today I started with some Stampin' Up! business. 18:40 minute mark is the MAke a Card and the 48:00 mark starts the drawing for the giveaways. I did have a comment about an issue, one of my friends had with a Stamp and Punch set called All A Flutter. You will see that I did stop during the business part and shared how I fixed the issue she was having with her stamps not lining up to her punch. This can happen with photo polymer stamps as the can stretch and move when using them. I punched a template and lined them up to put them on a block. If you ever have that trouble give it a try. Then got back to finishing up with the business part. At the 18:40 minute part of the live I started with the Samples for the Make a Card Monday and then shared how I made the cards. At the 48:00 minute mark I started the drawing for give aways. Washes Of Gratitude Kit from Stampin' Up!

Today I started out sharing some swaps from May On Line Exclusives. Then at about the 14 minute mark, I shared a card using the Fern and Flora Embossing folder. Last week a shared cards made with Embossing Folders and Blending Brushes and had to try one more technique with the embossing folders and Blends. Great cards with Embossing Folder Fun.

Today I got to share some Embossing Folder Fun.

The Video starts with a little Stampin Business then I shared a little Swaps as I think I forgot to share them before. I moved onto some samples and then created a couple cards live. Finally we did 4 card Give Aways from last weeks creations! I used the Lazy Daisy 3d Emboss folder, Fern & Flora 3D and Sunflower 3d folder. I used Hydrangea Hue, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, and Highland Heather ink with the Blending Brushes to create some fun with the embossed pieces. Stampin' Up! Cutest Crew Slider Card & Florals in Bloom DSP Explosion Card.

Today I started with a little business then shared a card we made in my Card Club. I then demonstrated a Slider card and an Explosion card inspried by the Sunny Day Stamping. I hope you like them both. For the Slider card I used the Cutest Crew Stamp set and dies and the Designer Series Paper was the In Color 2025-27 and card stock. The Explosion card I used Phrases and Frames Stamp set, Nested Essentials dies, Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper, Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, Granny Apple Green and Basic White Card stock, Momento Ink and Rhinestones.

Painted Skies Kit, April new release from Stampin' Up!

 

Today I stared with a little SU news, the at about the 6:30 mark I shared Swaps, from the New Stampin' Up! catalog that starts on May 5th. I shared a little of what I pre ordered last week and the trouble I had with a couple stamp sets as I forgot to order the Impressions Plate and how much better it works when you use the right tools. 25:40 in I finally got to the Make a Card Monday projects. The projects today are from the Painted Skies kit that came out in April. LOVE this kit and I am sure you will too. I shared how to make the 3 cards from the kit directions and some simple alternates with the 3 cards. Then of course we finish up with a drawing from 4 cards from last week. Today's video started with some Stampin' Up! news like normal. At about the 12 minute mark in the video, I went onto sharing some items that will be coming out May 5th in the May-August catalog. And a couple of them you will need to add the new Impressions pad to be able to get them to also emboss. At the 20 minute mark, I started sharing about the Make A Card Monday products I used. Then I moved onto the Make A Card Monday samples and made 2 cards to share with you that will be in the drawing next week, along with a couple others, for the give away for those that left a comment on my FB Live.

I fell in love with this beautiful Designer Series Paper the first time I saw it. It will be coming out on May 5th to order. It is called the Scenic Coast, item # 167773. May 8th Stamp Camp

 

May 8^th Stamp Camp 12-3:30pm in the SHE Barn, Oak Grove, MN

$30.00 includes 5 cards, plus one bonus card.

This camp will highlight a couple techniques along with some products from the New May-August catalog. If I have a lot of interest, I will offer a 4-7:30pm camp again that evening. My class has a limit of 10.

RSVP to skschudi1@msn.com payment is required to reserve your spot by May 2^nd. This is also that last day to cancel for a full refund. As of right not I am not offering a kits to go but if you are interested in this, please reach out and we can talk about it.

You will need to bring a Camp kit for the class. I recommend for your camp kit that you bring your adhesive of choice, scissors, dimensionals, a bone folder and if you like sparkle like I do, Wink of Stella. I will have these items for sale, if needed at Camp.

I started the video off with a little Stampin' Up! news. About the 11 minute point, I shared some up coming items I was able to pre order out of the May 5th Stampin' Up! Catalog. Plus a few Sneak Peeks at some projects I made with the Pre Order items. Then we were able to start the Make a Card Monday project. About 1 hour in. I used the Paradise Garden Bundle and the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper. And of course I finished it up with the Give away of the projects from a couple weeks ago.. I hope you enjoyed the video and it inspires you to want to create some amazing projects.
